SCSS SYMPOSIUM 2015
"Opportunities & Challenges in Stem Cell Based Medicine"
The Stem Cell Society Singapore (SCSS) will hold it's 7th Annual Symposium on the 17 to 18 November 2015 at Biopolis, Singapore.
The theme for Symposium 2015 is "Opportunities & Challenges in Stem Cell Based Medicine".
Synopsis of the Symposium: Stem cell based therapies show tremendous promise in treating various disorders and are currently being translated into the clinic. However many questions in this field remain unanswered. This Symposium aims to bring together experts to discuss topics like the best cell source for different diseases, regulatory and policy hurdles towards stem cell therapeutics and experiences of researchers in Asia that have successfully progressed towards clinical trials using stem cells. This symposium hopes to identify the most viable opportunities in stem cell based therapies and provide direction in solving some of the challenges facing the field.

All abstracts must be submitted during the online registration process taking into consideration the relevant submission deadlines.
There will be a dedicated poster session on the evening of the 17th November with Food & Drinks.

Individual Registration:
Registration of individual delegates is through the online registration platform which will open on the 1 May 2015.
Payment via PayPal requires a valid Credit Card.
Group Registration:
We encourage group registration with discounted registration fees for institutions and organizations who wish to register more than 3 members/staff together. Contact symposium@stemcell.org.sg for further information.
On-site registration will be available with an administrational fee of SGD100 added to the respective Regular fee category. On-site registration is subject to availability of seats and is by CASH or Credit Card.
The registration fee includes:
Symposium booklet including programme and abstracts of plenary talks
and poster presentations.
Access to all symposium sessions and official events.
F&B during tea breaks, lunches and official evening networking sessions.
Accommodation
We recommend the Park Avenue Rochester Hotel, in convenient walking distance to the venue. Limited discounted rooms are available.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations may be considered until the 16th of September 2015. Notification of cancellation must be submitted to SCSS in writing. A cancellation fee of S$100 will apply to cancellations received by 16th of September, 2015. No refunds will be given for cancellations received after 16th of September 2015.
